HIS

Hotel is yet another place for Information System required. Travelers and businessmen need local information, as well as seamingless information network such as E-mail, E-fax, file transfer, entertainment, E-commerce, etc.. HIS stands for Hotel Information System and is prepared for all rounded solutions for hotels, motels, and condominiums.

HIS starts with network infrastructure, with LAN, xDSL, wireless AP, etc.. For example, old hotels with only RJ11 telco cables need xDSL (VDSL) to speed up leadtime. Most hotels require VOD entertainment for guests, and high resolution local VOD server guarantees such performance once installed in the premise of hotel. Also, utilizing local server, additional information services are available as per customers' request.

Most important component of HIS is interface to payment system, as hotel guests are paying their bills at only checkout time.
